The M.I.A. Project is a “Mission In Action” to help families financially that have a child with thyroid cancer. In 2014, our daughter, Mia was diagnosed with papillary adenocarcinoma (form of thyroid cancer). As you can imagine, hospital bills quickly started to pile up. The Bethlehem Recreation Department ran a soccer camp to help pay for these medical expenses. Our goal is to help other families, in a similar financial situation, have a burden lifted. Each year, at Christmas, we pay this forward to a well deserved and carefully selected family. With your help, we can make this goal a reality!
